Requirements
============
WinBreadboard requires Windows 3.1, NT or 95 and 720kb of Disk Space.

Getting Started
===============
Installing WinBreadboard
	Create a WBRD (WinBreadboard) Directory
		To create a WBRD directory under Windows 3.1 start up the File
		Manager application. Select the location of the directory.
		Then select Create Directory from the File Menu. When you
		are prompted for a name type wbrd.

	Copy the *entire* contents of the WinBreadboard Disk to the WBRD
	directory on your hard drive.
		To copy the contents of the WinBreadboard Disk to the WBRD
		directory under Windows startup the File Manager
		application. Select the WBRD directory on your hard drive,
		then select the drive that corresponds to your 3 1/2 inch
		floppy drive (usually A or B). Select all of the files,
		drag them and drop them on your hard drive. This should
		copy all of the files to your WBRD directory.

	Create a WinBreadboard Program Manager item (Win 3.1).
		To create a WinBreadboard Program Manager item under
		Windows select the group you want to put the application
		into. (You may wish to create a group for WinBreadboard.)
		Then select New from the File Menu. Make sure the radio
		button next to Program Item is selected. Select OK.
		Select the Browse button and locate the WBRD directory.
		Select WBRD.EXE. Type WinBreadboard in to the Description
		field. Then select OK. You should now have a WinBreadboard
		Program Item.

	You may run WinBreadboard from a floppy also, although, some
	operations will be slower. Either way, be sure to make a backup
	copy for your personal use. To start WinBreadboard, double-click
	on the WinBreadboard Application Icon. The first time you run
	WinBreadboard you will need to enter your name, organization, and
	the unique serial number found on your registration sheet
	(the last page on the user manual).

WinBreadboard is licensed to run on only one computer at a time, and is
serialized to enforce this restriction.

Compatibility Issues
====================
It has come to our attention that the Buzzer may not be compatible with
all of the available sound drivers. WinBreadboard works best with the
standard sound driver that is provided with Windows 3.1. If you are using
the PC-Speaker Sound Driver you will experience problems. You will need to
remove the PC-Speaker Driver to use the Buzzer feature of WinBreadboard.
The PC-Speaker Driver is only capable of playing sounds synchronously.
This is incompatable with the desired use of WinBreadboard's buzzer.
Other sound drivers may also have problems. The Buzzer should make a
continuous high pitched noise if it is working correctly. If you don't hear
the noise or you hear a clicking sound, WinBreadboard is not compatible
with your sound driver. You will need to remove your sound driver and
use the standard windows sound driver.
